Sustainable
With a growing consensus on the need to reduce our use of hydrocarbons, we have committed to offer a greater range of frames made from sustainable materials and, where possible increase our use of local West Country based suppliers.
Ocean recovered plastics . . .
Utilising the strongest form of discarded plastics found in our oceans to produce exceptionally sustainable, recycled eyewear. Newquay-based Waterhaul produce frames that meet the technical demands of adventure, ocean-exposure and UV protection, as well as acting as ‘symbols of change’ for our oceans. Every frame comes with a lifetime warranty.

Bio-based polymers . . .
Earth Conscious Optics feature carbon-neutral, bio-based organic polymers combined with recycled metals. One feature we really like is all their eyewear includes a polarised clip-on. Instantly transform your normal glasses into polarised sunglasses with a clip-on that's identical to the frame, so no one will ever notice you're wearing clip-ons.
Bio-acetate and wood . . .
Bio-acetate is an eco-friendly form of plastic with a lower carbon footprint than traditional acetate. It's sustainably sourced from wood and cotton, hypoallergenic and safe for your skin, high strength, flexible, and repairable. This local Exeter based manufacturer has one of the highest B-Corp scores for recycling with recycleable packaging.

Japanese titanium . . .
To truly appreciate all the benefits that titanium has to offer, you'll need a frame manufactured from pure titanium, not an alloy. Less than half the weight of a traditional nickel-silver steel frame, four times stronger and with greater tensile strength, our titanium ranges are lightweight, comfortable and totally hypoallergenic. If you're allergic to nickel, they are the perfect option.
