Our NHS sight tests . . .
What's included?
An NHS sight test at NHK Opticians is a detailed clinical assessment, typically including:

-
A discussion about your vision, lifestyle and visual demands
-
Assessment of your visual acuity and prescription
-
Evaluation of eye coordination and focusing ability
-
Measurement of eye pressure (where clinically appropriate)
-
Examination of the health of the front and back of your eyes
-
Screening for common eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts
We may also recommend various advanced diagnostic and imaging tests to allow earlier detection of eye disease - often before you notice any symptoms. These are generally not covered by NHS funding.
Who's entitled to NHS funding?

They are under 16
