Two pathways . . .
NHS Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS)
To qualify for an NHS funded Minor Eye Conditions Service emergency appointment, you will initially be assessed over the phone to confirm your symptoms meet the NHS emergency criteria and to decide how quickly you should be seen.
Demand for these appointments is currently very high. You may need to travel outside your area to be seen.
If we are unable to see you in the prescribed time period, you will be directed to another participating practice.

Private emergency eyecare appointment
If your symptoms do not meet the NHS criteria or we are unable to see you in the required time frame, we offer private emergency appointments.
